Sitting here in our freezing office in Melbourne, I wish I could don the winged shoes worn by Alana Zimmer in her sports fashion inspired pictorial for the June edition Flare magazine. It was lensed on a very inviting beach by photographer Max Abadian; but all I can hope for is seeing the down-under take on 2010 fall fashion trends through my quickly frosting over glasses.
Whether it's a hairstyle or the style of your clothes, developing a sense of style and then heightening it is immensely important for any fashioniser. We hope that we not only continually provide you with the inspiration, but can also, from time to time, offer up the proof of the necessity. Case in point, model Anna Maria Jagodzinska styled for Tom Ford (top) and Vogue China (bottom).
Vogue Span states the obvious in their June 2010 issue, describing Adriana Lima as a sex bomb. That we knew. How mature Adriana can look though, we didn't.

May 2010 sees Vogue US pulling together a flock of big-name models to bring six 'quintessential looks' from America's recent history to life.
There's a modern sporty take on the Gibson Girl with her curved silhouette and hair piled high; the artistic bohemian; the roaring-twenties flapper girl (brilliantly played by Chanel Iman); the patriot, dressed in military greens and camouflage prints; the screen siren (look out for Lara Stone resembling a young Kim Basinger); and the elegant debutante heiress with her waved hair and diamond jewels (below with Karlie Kloss and Frida Gustavsson).

Given that every time we see a campaign photographed by Karl Lagerfeld it tends to involve Freja Beha Erichsen and Baptiste Giabiconi, with the latest Chanel eye-wear campaign (below) being no exception, we have to wonder if we'll see Freja amongst the models in Karl's work for the 2011 Pirelli calendar. Or is her androgyny too far from where the calendar places itself?
